Yes, I think the brand doesn’t matter if you get it from a reputable source.
I posted this a couple of years ago, and I haven’t changed my mind.

I don’t think higher is better from my own N -1 dosing at a higher level of 12 to 14 mg weekly for 7 months.
At higher levels my glycans and inflammation was worse, as was my DNA methylation.
When reduced back to original dose of 6 mg weekly… my good bio-markers returned. Inflamnation biological age 42 years. DNA 53 years. I am almost 68 years old.
Kaeberlein, Attia all the best say 6-8 mg weekly for men. Maybe break every 3 month cycle for a month.

1 mg rapamycin = 3 ng/mL in the blood.
At 38 ng/mL I was at a 12 mg + dose weekly.

The tablets come in what certainly looks like the manufacture’s strips. I had a blood test for Biocon, which was the lowest price and just had a blood test the Zydus both show next to ZERO in my blood. Is it possible that my metablism is such that there is not half life

How significant is the grapefruit for the Zydus tabs to be effective. I’ve not taken the meds with gf. and my tests both times have come in at ZERO ng/ml

As of now having been taking rapa for many months only to discover bogus meds. Biodin and Zydus.

How long after dosing did you do the blood test. The blood test is for sirolimus (it is all the same molecule).
Typically you do a test 2 full hours after dosing … not later than 3 hours. Some people have a fast metabolism of it - like Matt Kaeberline.
My first test was a few hours after dosing results zero. The next was at trough results zero.
Sorry, but your description of two meds being tested is confusing. Getting a trough when you already had zero at dose makes no sense to test for a trough.
To keep this less confusing… I am only curious about your Zydus sirolimus testing. You took the dose of 4 mg… 6 mg zydus sirolimus… and had blood drawn for testing in a lavender topped tube 2 hours later. Results showed no medication in your system.
Again, if you want to shoot me a few pills (in blister pack), I can take and test with LABCORP end of January when I do my full blood panel. Will use your meds a few hours early for my trough. Test my meds 2 hours later. Always good to double check. I have never had any testing issues in 4 plus years of testing every 3-4 months.

What was your testing protocol? How many hours after dosing? Did you take any supplements in the hours prior to dosing? Which ones? Lots of things can influence the blood levels.

Highly doubtful you’re getting bogus meds, let alone from two different brands. Though perhaps it’s possible that these drugs were stored at high heat in India prior to shipment and that might affect your blood results. One of the downsides of ordering medications from India is you don’t know the supply chain, and India (with its extreme heat during parts of the year) storage could be a significant issue I suspect.

Since he said that the blood levels showed ZERO then there’s got a be either fake meds (which I doubt) or maybe botched lab work (some kind of mix up). Had it been other factors (as you mention) he should at least have shown some level, not just zero. Plus, his pills (pic he posted earlier) I think showed different color and shape than regular Zydus rapa. His case seems very unusual given its first time I hear such claim in these forums. Would be interesting to know who sold him the meds (if there was one of the usual guys we order from, or it was someone new/random)
