I tried to contact the nearest doctor (Dr. Green in Queens NYC) but he is not responding and I have painful frozen shoulder.
I am a 56 year old female in good health. Can anyone recommend a dosage? I’ll just buy online.
Any advice would be appreciated.
It’s always best to start small and scale up slowly. You may want to try 1 mg a week for a few weeks and then increase your dosage by 1 mg a month.
Hi and welcome to the forums.
I recommend you read up so you are well informed about rapamycin, by going through our Rapamycin FAQ: Rapamycin Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Dosing information is covered here: What is the Rapamycin Dose / Dosage for Anti-Aging or Longevity?
Doctors/Prescribing/Purchasing Rapamycin is covered here: How to Get Rapamycin, Where to get a Prescription
Are you wanting to start Rapamycin only because of your shoulder? And you are you expecting Rapamycin use to fix your shoulder problem?
It worked for Matt Kaeberlein for frozen shoulder.
Just shoulder problems.
Yes that’s where I heard it from
I am 81 yrs old and I am virtually pain free since I have been on rapamycin for about 1 yr. Remarkably my joint pains just seemed to have disappeared over time. It was several months before I noticed major results from rapamycin. At first is was just my chronic actinic keratoses that disappeared. I wasn’t even thinking about age related arthritic joint pain. One day I just realized it had disappeared.
Where do you buy it? Thanks!
I’ve had a good experience with Healthspan. Many others on the forum buy from India (see this thread).
I use Maulik Parekh maulik7@gmail.com
Of all of the vendors that I use, he is the cheapest and quickest. He is also one of the few that take credit cards.
Just send a simple email requesting a quote for what you want to order.
For rapamycin, you will only want to be using the Zydus or Biocon brands.
I have used both. I use Biocon because it is cheaper. Use no other brands.
If you decide to order from him, wait until after April 1st, as he is on holiday.
It must’ve been a real good financial year (because of us) for him to afford such a long vacation. My order has been in limbo for last 7 days already LOL and have to wait another 7. Actually, I’m not in a hurry and the medicines in that order are for extra supply. I am a hoarder LOL and like to have everything stashed for five years.
I must modify that. He is not accepting credit cards from new customers. New customers will have to use Wise. Why is that? I think it is because too many customers disputed their card charge because they didn’t recognize that the credit card payment shows up as FD4CAST LTD on their statements. This resulted in several hassles with some customers, so he is apparently not offering the credit card option except to customers who haven’t had a problem with this. He accepts Wise, which I don’t think is a problem. Wise https://wise.com just requires that you set up an account, and the process takes a few more steps.
Plus, wise fees have gone down significantly. Used to pay $10-12 couple years ago and all I’m charged now is $2-$3 per transaction.
Thank you! I contacted him anyway. How long have you been on it and what dosage?
I have been taking rapamycin for over five years. My dose might not be appropriate for your age. There are various threads discussing this in length. Dosage
Again, thanks! How has it made you feel? What has it done for you?
