This is interesting because it potentially gives a relatively simple mechanism to measure something associated with a metabolic biological age. It just needs a really precise thermometer.

Interesting. It’s tricky though because efforts that slow aging like CR also lower body temperature…!!

(I wouldn’t be surprised if lower mTOR, IGF-1, Testosterone and other growth pathways also slightly decreases body temp of the host?)

@AlexKChen may know more, but I think Roy Walford and modern day CRON community see temp down as one key sign of being on track towards longevity benefits.

I’ve also seen that Blueprint seems to track it as a key metric.

Another issue is that less inflammation also leads to lower body temp and hence is a sign of good health…
