I can so no reason why you should not worry about the odd peak in the Biocon, meaning I too wonder just what it is, and am inclined to go with the “cleaner” Zydus.
Agreed, and I’ll ramp up from 1>6mg,go for a couple of cycles and then do a triple blood test, looking for ~ max and then two others to attempt to find a slope. Hopefully some here will do just that and while one person might have different numbers, there is value in seeing what others get.
What is the going price for rapamycin?
I got quoted $6.5 for 6 zydus 1mg and $6.5 for 10 biocon 1mg. Freight is $20 up to 1000 pills.
Thx
I don’t know why Zydus is so much more, always has been. I had a blood test after biocon and it came out just as it should, good stuff.
Currently I’m nearly finished my siroboon 2mg tablets. I take 16mg with GFJ to get a 24 hour level of 10 to 13ng/L. When I didn’t take them the blood test show 3 To 4ng/L. Kinda disappointing.
Marek Health sells the Labcorp Sirolimus blood test for $59. I’ve used it many times.
Simply Grapefruit juice (bottled) works well. As it is owned by Coca-Cola, I would bet it is available in Atlanta.
Thx to Australian Medicare I get my blood test weekly for free.

Just wanted to share my experience real quick.
I’ve been buying off an Indian reseller who’s contact deets I found on a thread somewhere here last year. It’s the Biocon product and like everyone, I was wondering is this legit?
No mouthsores, so I don’t really have any other ‘symptoms’ to go by.
But… I started giving it to my father to treat Polycythemia vera, which has the major symptom of increased hematocrit. So he has to go to get a phlebotomy every 3 weeks or so.
Anyway, after 2 months of Rapa treatment, his levels dropped low enough he doesn’t need to get treatment anymore. Which is great, but I wasn’t 100% sure if that was it, could be a coincidence.
However, he decided to quit taking it because he thought that doing Nasal irrigations nightly was what fixed the problem. I know that sounds ridiculous (he’s pretty old). Anyway, within 2 months his numbers jumped up and he was back at the bleeders again.
So we started Rapa again 8mg per week after a meal, and his numbers are dropping. So I can say with pretty strong confidence this is a good source and Biocon seems to be the real deal. So I’m sure there’s Rapa in there at a reasonable dose, but no idea what fillers and other BS are in those pills.
Here are the contacts deets I have for the guy I buy from:

Additionally, he fucked up once and sent one shipment to the wrong address. I couldn’t recover it, even though it was literally like 2 houses down the street. Anyway, he made it right almost immediately. So that’s part of the reason I’m sharing his info, he’s been a good provider.
Hi all. Just going through this forum. I’m an analytical chemist by training and was alarmed at the 2019 results posted here. Just eyeballing the peak area, the first sample is more than 1/3 contaminated with something else and the second is 20% to 25% contaminated. It may be the same contamination based on the similar retention times but the issue is that we don’t know what it is. The producer is skipping a purification step.
I’m going to try to get a prescription for Rapamycin filled by Amazon and may set up a test in my lab. I’ll keep you posted.
Are you saying you ask your GP for a blood test for rapamycin and they do it?
No questions asked?
Yes. It is covered by Medicare here in Australia.
Thanks! I will try that.
Hi
I’m going to India in a few days - Mumbai and Kochi - is there any way I can simply buy rapamycin (and metformin) in a pharmacy without prescription? I know it might get confiscated in customs - I live in EU. But I’ll take that chance. If it is possible to buy in a pharmacy - what is best: Just to show up or to order it from home?
put them into a vitamin packaging lol
I don’t know about the regular pharmacies, but people have reported that you can always identify the Indiamart resellers that are based in the city you are in - then contact them and pick up the medications directly at their offices. For example here are the sirolimus vendors on Indiamart that are based in Mumbai: https://dir.indiamart.com/search.mp?ss=sirolimus+1+mg&v=4&mcatid=209179&catid=360&prdsrc=1&cq=mumbai&tags=res:RC3|ktp:N0|mtp:S|isu:1|wc:3|cq:mumbai|qr_nm:gd|cs:9524|com-cf:nl|ptrs:na|mc:209179|cat:360|qry_typ:P|lang:en|rtn:0-0-0-0-0-10-0
That is what some people seem to do:
Regulatory authorities such as the FDA and EMA consider the amounts of titanium dioxide used as excipient typically present in medications (often far lower than those encountered in some food applications) to be inert and safe.
Hello Weekev - thank you for this post! It does sound like a good provider. I live in Canada, and I’m wondering if those might be the same numbers to use if I call from here. Thank you again. this is helpful. L
You can do it at Labcorp in the US without doc orders
