Regulatory authorities such as the FDA and EMA consider the amounts of titanium dioxide used as excipient typically present in medications (often far lower than those encountered in some food applications) to be inert and safe.

Bought some Siroliums from Maulick on Aug 1st, and the product still has not left the India airport. Is that normal?

Yes. It’s normal. You only need to worry about the USA side IMHO.

A discussion board on Doximity is commenting on a recall of impure Metoprolol ER medication made in India. An India trained MD practicing in the US, made this comment: ā€œI am very reluctant to take any generic made in India . Cutting corners is rampant. There is very little accountability. Monitoring and enforcement is very poor. Corruption is rampant and law enforcement and legal system is all for sale for the right priceā€
