Importing Rapamycin to Save Money (2)

So grateful for this! Having never ordered from another country i am trying hard to find someone safe and reliable. Have read so much my eyes are starting to cross. You have mentioned Maulik Parek but i couldnt find a post showing what company he is with. May i ask who he works for and if you could share his contact info please? Also, does this company take paypal? I have crypto but would much prefer to use paypal as it is so much easier, at least for me. Thank you again for taking the time to share!

Great! So Biocon is what Maulik sells. From what i have been reading Biocon or Zydus seem to be everyones “favorite” for some reason. Thanks again and Happy New Year!

I believe Biocon sold Rapacan to Eris. It should be the same formula though.

This is why people like to buy their medications from India (if not covered by insurance):

Drugmakers raised the list prices on 575 name-brand drugs in just the first two days of the new year, according to drug price research firm 46brooklyn. Drugs for diabetes, HIV, cancer saw price hikes, among others.

For years a 10% annual price hike was fairly normal, but they’ve started coming down in recent years. This year’s median price hike so far is only 4%, says Antonio Ciaccia, CEO of 46brooklyn.

Hello Desertshores - sent a reply to your email that was in my “inbox” . Thank you for bringing attention to this posting that way. I am hoping to order some rapamycin tomorrow (was hoping today but another assignment usurped its place.) Sure do hope to get some soon. My hope is that it will help to prevent the generation of internal scar tissue after my knee revision surgery. Unfortunately my system seems to classify implants as “foreign objects” to be coated with tissue in order to protect that area of my body, I tend to develop adhesions etc., so it may be an overactive immune system reaction, which rapamycin may be able to prevent. Here’s hoping!!

What is the current status on importing meds from India to the US in terms of shipping and import duties? Thanks for any feedback.

So who are you dealing with?

ElViejo, I recently made an order to test the process. Through IndiaMart.com vendors are now charging additional fees for US Tariffs in some manner. All except maybe one or two who provided quotes for my purchase seem to be back to using India Post for shipping. Some may offer shipping through Dubai. I asked at least one vendor how his shipments to the US were going, but I received no response. If all goes well this shipment should arrive within 3 to 4 weeks, but I am anticipating problems. As I said, it’s just a test.

Here are the results of the “test order” I made. The order was paid for on Oct. 16, 2025 and arrived in my mailbox on Nov. 10, 2025. I believe that’s 26 days which is definitely longer than usual. It appeared to be in limbo most of that time which according to my research may have been an extensive stay in Zurich waiting to get on an airplane and an extensive wait at JFK to get into Customs. ParcelsApp.com kept repeating the Zurich to JFK flight message every 3 days for a few weeks. From what I could find out most of these shipping messages are electronically generated and when the package wasn’t actually found to be at JFK the computer simply generated the Zurich to JFK flight message again. Then, all action went totally silent for about a week before I saw “Arrived at USPS Regional Facility, Queens, NY Distribution Center” which means it had apparently passed through Customs and was going through the postal system. So, the only obvious problem to me was a week or two of extra time for delivery.

Ordered my Sirolimus Tablets from RL PHARMA JAGDISH in India. Took quite a while for my not tech savvy self to figure out how to make payments and then there were customs issues but Jagdish was super kind and patient to work with and even resent the package when it was returned to him the first time. So I finally got it and have been building up my dose for about a month and a half now.

Thanks for posting your results. Yes - it’s a bit of a hassle (the whole wire transfer issue) the first time you do it. My bank saves my wire transfer information in my online account - so the good news is it’s just a simple “send” again to an established account, so very easy to do going forward. My bank charges $25, how much did you end up paying for the WT?

Also - most of us here buy either Zydus sirolims and/or Eris/Biocon Rapacan sirolimus. These are the better tested products and verified manufacturers. See these threads on this topic:

  1. Which sirolimus to avoid buying?
  2. Generally Good Indian Pharma Companies

Ouch! I don’t want to discourage you, but that is the worst possible brand of rapamycyin out there. Most people here have had bad experiences with that brand - and tested blood levels show none or almost none of the active ingredient (rapamycin). Do a search for that brand on this site and look at what you find. I hope you find a way to deal with this. YMMV.

Yes. Unfortunately, Siroboon is the worst of the worst brands. It can have negligible Rapamycin in it. Jagdish sells other brands. I recommend Zydus. Great seller, bad product.

I use Wise. Once you figure out the website and get your account set up, it works well for me. No issues to date.
