Disturbing news regarding Medications Ordering from India, Price Increases, Parcels Stopped

Hi all-

Just received a shipment from India. It took about 10 days to get to me in California. Was an real breeze compared to past shipments which took longer, stayed in customs a while, etc. This one looks to have been in customs for less than a day. I paid by credit card, no extra fees for that, really easy. It was a relatively small package and no extra fees of any kind, just the usual shipping fees.

Who in India? My most recent order has been stuck in New York for 12 days.

So I don’t know if we are all trying to not be too public on here about who the sender is. I thought I saw someone say that, but at least I will PM you.

Things are pretty much the same here. Placed 2 orders, 1 made it safely. The other was reshipped for free after it was detained by customs. Received last week.

A tale of three vendors that use different postal products to ship to the US.

Jagdish has always been the slowest for me. Recently, members have posted faster delivery from him. Did he change the service he uses?

My vendor, who uses First Class Package International Service, has always been the quickest, followed by one who uses Universal Postal Union, Emirates Post Group USPS.

Can anyone look at their latest package from Jagdish to see if he has changed the postal service he uses?

Are you seeing successful deliveries in all cases?

I have placed many orders from India. The only order that I lost was from
Jagdish using “Priority Mail Express International.” This may be a coincidence. But the difference in timing was always how long the packages remained in customs after arriving in the US. So, I don’t know if this method of shipping is more prone to customs inspection, or if they proceed through a different internal route after arriving at customs.

Another positive report from a community member today. He ordered on Nov. 5th from India. Arrived today, Nov. 17th, so a total of about 12 days. No issues. Small order of 400 tablets of misc. medications.

Things seem to be getting back to normal. I also heard from a vendor I checked in with, that they are seeing 95% success rates now shipping to the USA directly from India.

Are they paying tariff fees or flying under the radar without declaring?

It seems it’s under the radar. He says the cost of what was ordered was $170, and the declared value was $7 US on the paperwork. No duties seem to have been levied. Total weight of package was 385 grams (13 oz).

I just was in touch with Anil whom i used about 8 months ago for Biocon rapamycin. he quoted a higher price and for only 100 pills than my last order which was for 120 pills as I recall. Plus there was a 50% tariff fee then shipping of 30$

Thanks. It seems there are differences between vendors. Things might be settling, but not yet fully. I don’t have any needs right now (more accurately there are meds I want that are not available on IndiaMart), but down the line I’ll need these vendors again.

I would shop around and check the other vendors mentioned in this thread. Update us if you find a better deal.

I contacted jagdish whom I think a lot of people use. his quote (yesterday) was 101 for 100 tablets or 166 for 200. (which is 19 less than the other vendor for 100 tabs). I replied back to ask if that was for biocon (which I had asked for a quote for) as he didn’t indicate what product he was quoting; and if he accepted WISE payments which is what i use.

He did accept WISE in the past. I don’t know if he still does.
Originally he was my favorite vendor, but he became less communicative to emails. And I only contact India vendors by email.
I would suggest trying some other vendors from the ones mentioned in the thread."“Buy Rapamycin Online - List of Reliable Pharmacies

'Ill look at that list. But so far he has been very quick to respond. I sent him a msg this morning and i see tonight he has already responded. maybe sales are down due to the USA turmoil and he’s hungry for sales…

Jagdish has always been reliable and responsive in my experience.

He was when I first started using him. Later on, his response time and answers to questions became problematic. Maybe my orders weren’t big enough for him to pay much attention to.
