Adapalene (Differin) Report / Skincare Benefits

One other thing to note. I’ve found that the 4% Hydroquinone is pretty effective at eliminating “age spots” on your skin.

Its rather slow, taking about 4 weeks in my case… and a little longer for some, but it does work quite well. Videos I’ve watched by dermatologists suggest alternating between the hydroquinone cream and either tretinoin / retin A, or adapalene on these spots.

Cost for a tube of 30grams of 4% Hydroquinone seems to range from about $0.50 to a few dollars (US) a tube.

Im my experience adapolene does also cause redness, sensitivity and peeling, but it takes a more frequent use to cause irritation than tretinoin. Eyelids are particularly vulnerable. Learn what you can tolerate by building up slowly.

You need to moisturise several times a day at first. All retinoids leave your skin more vulnerable to the sun.

Niacinamide (vit B3) is supposed to be good skin. I plan to start using it soon and will report back! It also doesn’t have the nasty side effects of tretinoin…

I understand it’s better for joint pain as well, but I’m scared of it for heart disease.

Why not topical niacinamide? Seems like win/win:

Yes - topical niacinamide is good:

My regular Indian supplier has 30 g of 0.3% Adapalene with 2.5% of benzoyl peroxide, another acne treatment, for $22.50. The price is high compared to yours, and I don’t think I need the benzoyl peroxide. Maybe I should negotiate, or switch suppliers.

My price for the same product you are talking about: 30g 0.3% Adapalene with 2.5% BP, was approx. $8.00 US from Maulik:

whatsapp: +91 9925171777
website: www.shreejiimpex.co.in

But - I don’t think we want to use that product given what @Davin8r said: Adapalene (Differin) Report / Skincare Benefits - #5 by Davin8r

Maulik could not get the pure 0.3% Adapalene product for me.

So, I’ve reached out to this vendor as they seem to be the only one that provides the pure 0.3% Adapalene (with no other compounds):

But - they haven’t gotten back to me yet - so still trying.

My guy couldn’t get it from your guy, Klena Forte, who lacks the raw ingredients.

I purchased and received 30 tubes from Sivansh Trade. Price was $3 per tube with $50 shipping. The only thing I was a little upset about was he only had a USD to USD account, and for some reason the fees were about $12 compared to usually only $3 for USD to INR transfer. Unfortunately I went ahead and paid it. It probably would have been worth asking if he had a different account.

What exactly did you get 30 tubes of? The Adapalene Gel 0.3% Klena Forte?

They didn’t respond to me. I’ll try again.

Yes, exactly as pictured above. Adapalene 0.3% Klena Forte. Also printed on the box and tube is that it’s marketed by Shivansh Trade. I got a reply within a day or two of asking on Indiamart, and communicated on gmail, shivanshtrade22@gmail.com

About a week ago, I ordered 0.3 from Shivansh Trade and it has not been a smooth experience.

Multiple communication problems, including giving me the wrong tracking number and refusing to provide responses to my inquiries on shipment status. Too frustrating, I will not be using them again.

But sure enough they did ship eventually by EMS as required. So I wait to see if it makes it through customs.

This pharmacy claims to have Adapalene 0.3

That does sound frustrating.

This was one of three packages that I received last month, and none of them had issues with customs.

I have ordered their adapalene 0.3 also, but it was easy. They accept credit cards, with a 5 percent fee.

They also have zydus sirolimus/ rapamycin.

My experience was far from easy. And when I pointed out that he sent me the wrong number, with no documentation of shipment, and failed to contact me about why I could not find any evidence of shipment, he basically told me to F off. Further, I tried to ask about other products and his attitude was entirely dismissive, which is as bizarre as it is offensive.

So I will NEVER use him again, and cannot recommend him to anyone else.

Wow! The experience is so entirely inconsistent.

I tried to buy from Shivansh Trade, but couldn’t figure out how to pay him. Credit cards were out of the question, but now I hear that he took a CC with a 5% fee?!? Hmmm…

I ended up ordering 20 tubes of .3% Klena Forte through Zenith Impex. Supposedly it shipped on September 13, but I have yet to receive it.

Update 10/10/2024 It came yesterday via U.S. post, so it was almost a month in delivery. But at least it came!

I think the payment situation is pretty fluid with all these vendors. They are sort of skirting the legalities and payment systems don’t look favorably on online medicine sales
