OK - still probably the usual money/status/sex thing for now…
But, if rapamycin is as effective in humans as it has been in all other organisms its been tested on, there is going to be a lot less difference between a 25 year old (male or female) and a 45 year old, so I would expect we could see a lot more broadening of the dating range for both men and women.
At least in the silicon valley tech community, the buzz is much more around rapamycin, even if as a joke (Marc Andressen, below, was founder of Netscape, and now Andreessen Horowitz Venture Capital fund.
