I got my shingrix yesterday. 12 days after my 6 mg rapamune. And I got quite a bit of known side effects.
Pain at the injection site. Muscle pain. tiredness/fatigue, headache, chills and feverlike/fluelike symptoms but no abnormal temperature.
Maybe I should have waited longer than 12 days after my last dose of rapamune?
Any ideas from the forum?
@Curious I got my shingles vax before ever starting rapa, and I thought I might die from the side effects 
I’ve never heard of anyone feeling as awful as I did after my first two covid vaccines, but shingles took the prize.
It’s impossible to know for sure, but you might have felt that way regardless of when you took your dose. 12 days sound like plenty of time to me, fwiw.
Its something that requires more knowledge about the person concerned, but superficially it would not appear that Rapa had that much effect.
I am going for my next dose in about 2 months time. Then I am more prepared to get a few days of these “fluelike” symptoms.
