Peptides / Bioregulators

I would tend to disagree with that assessment. We have a lot less usage history with peptides, and the ones that have been through clinical trials like terzepitide show some very significant clinical effects, suggesting to me that they can do a lot.

I would assume your N=1 ordered BUNK peptides.
To say they are useless and do “nothing” is laughable and uneducated.
There are over 1000 pubmed studies on peptides going back decades.
FDA has approved MANY peptdies including Tesamorelin for Aids patients for visceral fat

You are aware that insulin and collagen are also peptides right?
I dare you to inject PT-141 or Melanotan-II and not get an effect.
Trust me you wont be able to sleep. Your libido will go through the roof.

Its like when people have been telling me for decades when I ran 2 health food stores “vitamins dont do a thing”
Oh yeah …go pop a 500mg Niacin pill and comeback in 30 minutes

You keep saying they are usless and do nothing. Then why bother posting on peptides. Keep to the posts that are relevant to YOU.
There are 100s of people on here that have experimented with peptides and some have had life changing effects.
As with everything-some people will see little from one peptide, one viatmin or even one prescription whereas another individual may experience a completely different response from the same peptide, vitamin or prescription.

Saying peptides don’t work is like saying nutritional supplements don’t work, when in fact it requires more nuanced thinking because some are useful and potential life-changing while others are probably junk, with a whole lot of placebo effect to go around. Some people want to oversimplify everything and make sweeping generalizations, but that’s just lazy imo.

“BTW, I will not change my mind even if you provided me with 1million studies to contrary.”

'Nuff said.

If you are so adamant that they are ALL Useless, than that is your opinion and you are entitled to it.
But there is Zero value of contributions to a forum of people interested in trying modalities to enhance their life, by just coming in with general statements about ALL.
Find a different post to fulfill your time bro.

And you even say "well except for PT-141 and except for Melanotan-II "
And then in the next post “well except for GLP”
GLPs ARE a peptide.
What about HGH. Does nothing lol?
How about IGF-1?
I am not taking IGF-1 as I am scared of it growing and already enlarged prostate…but taking IGF-1 and hitting the gym weights and taking protein = guaranteed muscle gains. And that is not just N=1

Insulin doesnt do anything either. ScAM  A peptide hormone that reliably lowers blood glucose and has kept people with type 1 diabetes alive for more than a century. Its biological activity is not debatable

We all have different genetics.
We all agree “peptides are bunk and do nothing for Kelman”

A peptide is simply a chain of amino acids. not one specific drug class. Some are proven medicines; others remain speculative research chemicals. Let us research.
I find it funny when people come and hijack a thread with an agenda.

And i scrolled this thread. 22 posts by you all slamming peptides. One saying it is impossible for bone growth, and there isn’t a single study.
There are actually over 139,656 studies on peptides.
Even this on BONE GROWTH from. Teriparatide, PTH 1-34: A 34-amino-acid peptide that stimulates new bone formation.
I’m sure the New England Journal Of Medicine is also a scam and an N=1 Russian spy, lol

Study
New England Journal of Medicine (2001)
Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial
1,637 postmenopausal women
Median treatment duration: 21 months
Results
:white_check_mark: Reduced spinal fractures by about 65–69%
Placebo: 14% developed new vertebral fractures.
PTH (1-34): 4–5% developed fractures.
This is an enormous reduction in a clinically important outcome.
:white_check_mark: Reduced non-spinal fractures by about 53–54%
Placebo: 6%
Peptide groups: 3%
The benefit wasn’t limited to the spine.
:white_check_mark: Increased bone density dramatically Compared with placebo:
Lumbar spine:
+9% (20 μg)
+13% (40 μg)
Femoral neck (hip):
+3–6%
Total body bone mineral:
+2–4%
These are substantial improvements in bone mineral density.
:white_check_mark: Actually builds new bone Unlike bisphosphonates, which mainly slow bone breakdown, teriparatide stimulates osteoblasts to form new bone.
It is considered an anabolic osteoporosis treatment.
:white_check_mark: Well tolerated Side effects were generally mild:
Occasional nausea
Headache
The higher dose caused more side effects without reducing fractures further.
Why this study matters
This wasn’t measuring a surrogate marker like GH or IGF-1.
It demonstrated that a peptide produced real-world clinical outcomes:
Fewer fractures
Stronger bones
Increased bone mineral density
Those are outcomes that directly improve patients’ health.

For someone claiming “peptides do nothing,” this study alone is strong evidence to the contrary: a peptide reduced vertebral fractures by roughly two-thirds and cut non-vertebral fractures by about half in a large, placebo-controlled trial published in one of the world’s most respected medical journals

What a laugh :joy:
It’s YOU that continues the arguments.
They are many BPC-157 healing properties but we dont need to go on.
Some people don’t notice anything from Metformin

Let’s just all Agree To Disagree.
Go find a thread that interests you as opposed to just calling them all useless.

There are a 1000 threads on this forum alone.
Leave this one for the people that are researching peptides and want to continue to do so N=1 until further data presents itself.

I’m done communicating with nonsense.
Lets let this thread be for the ones that have interest in peptide use.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation

Does anybody have a good Chinese source for Khavinson peptides like Vesugen and Pinealon?
10 vials @ 20mg for a good price.

Thank you all!

They are bioregulators, pills not vials, expensive and of doubtful worth.

Exactly. Might as well donate that money to charity so it actually does something useful.

Here is a good overview of where the FDA is at with regards to unregulated peptides and the time frame it will take for these to allowed in compounding pharmacies.

Any updates on SLU-PP-915? I saw a video by bodybuilder/biohacker Youtuber Vigorous Steve stating he felt 915 to be approximately 5x as effective as 332. He was fairly adamant that 332 did have an effect despite knowing that the science states it is not orally bioavailable.

Timestamped link where he talks about it if you’re interested: https://www.youtube.com/live/qhGSBWOgJtk?si=TQ5qN9IGs0ryoSIV&t=366

We have demonstrated that an ERR pan-agonist (SLU-PP-915) with a distinct chemical scaffold from that of SLU-PP-332 displays similar exercise mimetic activity. Importantly, both of these compounds also induce a key gene that is a driver of the acute aerobic exercise transcriptional program, Ddit4 . SLU-PP-915 dose-dependently increases maximal exercise capacity, which is also correlated with the level of Ddit4 induction. Finally, SLU-PP-915 is the first ERR agonist shown to have oral bioavailability and demonstrated efficacy when administered orally. Such compounds may have wide utility in the treatment of a range of diseases where physical exercise improves the pathology.

I don’t know of any reliable source and the only evidence I’d trust is the study published by the SLU team. Not some gym bros opinion.

A application for a Phase 1 human trial is published.

It’s probably not hard to make but there are a few potential issues to be aware of.

I think I’ve seen people brew it in suspension. The people who tried seemed to prefer 332, price was probably a factor.

SLU-PP (whether 332 or 915) are not peptides but rather small molecule experimental drugs. Discussing them in the “peptides” thread only serves to perpetuate this misunderstanding.
