Loss of appetite with Rapamycin?

The mouth sores started after week 2 on my second dose and lasted a few days now they are gone. I was hoping / wondering if the loss of appetite issues would pass like the mouth sores did- like a short lived side effect

still wondering why you think that the rapamycin is psychological ? I do not see this listed any where as an issue with rapamycin,

I already said it’s not psychological and I changed my mind:

Lisa… my point is… for some on rapamycin…
losing weight… at least all your extra fat stores… adipose tissue, in your stomach, face, arms happens. All the extra… energy… fat… is cleaned out. So even with constantly eating… it is hard to gain or put on any extra weight. My post is more cautionary.

Which probably isn’t great news for you.

Are you in a state that permits 420 gummies? A small dose could make you ravenous. Just a thought.

That’s great! I don’t recall that I ever had reduced appetite from rapamycin. I do need to eat more now than before. Best wishes

It seems like if you eat more, you may not put on weight, but it may be related to the dyslipidemia and increased blood sugar some people (like myself) experience.

its seems to be the theme here that people are able to eat a lot more and not gain. But also some like me have less of an appetite. It sure doesnt seem any one here has GAINED any weight on this drug

Jiaogulan is one of a number of Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs. It is an a category called Yanq Qi. It is also an AMPK activator. I think that TCM Yang Qi herbs are probably all to some extent AMPK activators.

Yes, exactly… Marijuana gummies… just a small bit of gummy in the evening…after an hour or two it will increase your appetite, Make sure you have a lot of healthy things to eat ready… otherwise it’ll be just a lot of cupcakes and chips.

Yes, it is legal to possess small amounts of Marijuana up to an ounce in Virginia… gummies or weed. Although Virginia doesn’t have dispensaries for sales. Weird.

You can buy from dispensaries in Washington, DC.

I love TCM and its facinating to me would love to learn more
