Lancet study shows longer life = longer unhealthspan

It would be nice if the percentage of our lives spent in poor health was going down - but that’s not the case. It’s going up with time, and it’s worse for higher income countries - ouch! This study really puts the focus on the need to increase healthspan, even more than lifespan.

As promising as rapamycin is, I’m betting on the fasting-mimicking diet, which I guess is a backdoor way to inhibit mtor. But urolithin-A sure is promising.

I’m guessing GLP1’s will be the key for the average Westerner to conquer the vices of modernity.
