Life Extension is now offering an epigenetic age profile test that some of you may be familiar with. Their regular price for the test and report is $549, which seems high even though they tend to offer blood tests at competitively low prices. Does this test confer distinctively useful information? Sample report attached.
I’ve done the Trudiagnostic Complete 4 times in 3 years, will be doing our 5th in Sept. I’ve posted my results in a thread I started for all my test results.
Some of the new algorithms are an extra cost, like the Omics and SymphonyAge results but not a lot more, $15 and $25 but they apply that to all previous tests so it’s a good deal for anyone who has a history with them.
The reason there is an extra charge for those results is due to licensing. The Uni’s that they worked with on these (and that is one of the things I like about Tru) are getting compensated.
So not only do you get cutting edge epigenetic results, you directly support epigenetic research.
