From my reliable repeated India source:
" Dear buyer: all parcels to USA are suspended starting Monday. Customs closed parcel booking from 25 August. US customs are not allowing new shipments from India."

India and all over Europe.
It appears we’ll need to source from somewhere new then. Hopefully, this issue will resolve itself quickly. It may pass in a matter of weeks. Hopefully.
All because the US postal service said they were not ready to process customs payments so the US government made the foreign postal service responsible for collecting and remitting US customs payments!
Private couriers like UPS or FEDEx that provide end to end shipment have long been responsible for collecting and remitting customs payments and said they are ready to collect the new tariff. They also add a fee of typically $30 + 5% of the customs amount for this service. Unfortunately sending medications via couriers from India is hard since they require prescriptions from a US doctor for any medication shipments.
Also it is not clear if any packages with declared medications can be shipped anymore, since USA recently terminated the personal use exception so all FDA approved medications are now barred from importation by anyone other than Pharma manufacturers.
I don’t personally know the sources, but if anyone is in need of product, they should post on the forum, because there are some services that will ship from India/china to other countries, and then those suppliers will reship them to the US.
Australia is one of the few postal services that say they are ready to handle US customs payments, but they are discontinuing their special third country reshipment service if USA is the final destination.
Clearly this has got to be temporary. It’s not sustainable to stop the shipment of all packages from India and Europe. What a mess. Of course, even short term disruptions are going to be a pain. Out of an abundance of caution, I placed a flurry of large orders to India, and they all came in, so I’m set for a while, but I find it sad that my caution looks to have been justified - I was hoping that I was being overly paranoid, but it seems extra vigilance is now a requirement - sad times. But I figure it’ll resolve in a matter of weeks if not days - otherwise people will throw a fit.
On throwing a fit… yeah….
My cousin is close to placing a hit on Trump because she can no longer get her favorite cleansing balm shipped from the UK.
Hmmmm… I was not aware of this.

My only imported medication is hgh. And, it can be gotten fom USA located distributors.
No customs.
I have enough hgh to last for a full year. Got a great deal from China. Did my IGF-1 test - high normal 450 . Was 195 a year ago. Big bump… no doubt the real deal. Also as a side effect of extra synovial fluid in thumb and wrist. Get a sharp pain from time to time. Enough to say something is happening.
For now, I guess shipments from China is over.
It will be resolved quickly because it’s obviously not sustainable for any of the parties. Vendors are not concerned, and yes, the smart ones already route around it and evade FDA inspection.
This is just noise.
I just received some construction adhesive from UK. No problem. And no I don’t use it on my face (yet)
Might be a merchant thing.
UK’s last day for shipping is next Tuesday 8/26, for many other EU countries it is Saturday 8/23 : They want to allow enough time for packages to reach US customs by 8/29.
I know a vendor who will ship through Dubai. One order from him which I had sent through Dubai arrived safely within three weeks. lf duty was collected, it was transparent to me.
“Shipping available through Indian Post,
Dubai Emirates Post,
Shipping Charges :
$ 35upto 500 pills
$45 upto 1000 pills
$55 upto 1500 pills”
“A standard 10% customs duty applies to most goods imported from the UAE, including Dubai.”
I was not charged any tariff on my order. If the standard 10%, which has been in place for a long time, were to apply, maybe Dubai would already know how to deal with it.
In any case, in September, I will order a shipment through Dubai to test the waters.
I’m sure lots of the Indian vendors will soon offer this approach.
Exactly! I know of three. I wasn’t going to name the route (no need to help the feds), but they have a 99% success rate. Business as usual.
I assume others will adapt.
I ordered 2000 pills without worry earlier in the year.
AllDayChemist put up a similar warning — they’ve been shipping from Germany. My last order (Aug 1) just landed in NY, so I think it’ll clear. I’ve picked up a fridge for my stockpile. Only thing I’m light on is dapagliflozin. Got the fridge, got the stash — just missing that one little SGLT2 cherry on top.
My India supplier is what you might call a one-man US broker. It started out as a hobby but it has become so successful it is a substantial business enterprise. His US client base is now so large that he has developed a long term relationship with a trusted India broker who handles the problems on his side. In the 23 years I have been purchasing from him, I have had only one shipment delayed by customs. Another looked like theft on the shipping side as only half of the tablets showed up. He replaced everything at no charge. I inquired and he is not seeing any delays at this point but put everyone on notice after the election and the tariff talk took off.
Estimates for how long until the foreign postal services will resume shipments to USA is all over the map : UK postal service estimates “a couple of days” while a technical expert in Germany estimated “a few months”. I am guessing India Post is going to fall in the “a few months” range.
I think the risk of interception is higher than it used to be. If lost, who bears the cost? I told my guy that I’d split it with him. The service is worth it to me.
Yeah, me too. Manageable with lidocaine or heat.
