I’ll expect my package to get released and sent on its way, but the AAS underground vendors have reported a recent uptick in seizures of Chinese and Indian sourced shipments, and US CBP is also hiring contractors at big ports to implement better screening processes and technology.
They’re concerned about fentanyl and other drug precursors, protecting us from these horrible Indian generics that “that place the American people at risk for their health and safety,” but probably mostly about millions of items getting through under claims that they fall beneath the de minimus threshold. $$$ must be collected.
Just had a shipment denied entry to Canada. Small 200pc parcel. Reshipping it as we speak. Also have a shipment going to the USA i’ll update on aswell.
After many shipments from India, I finally had one seized by customs.
I ordered 40, 20-gram tubes of Retin-a cream from an Indian supplier.
By measuring the size of the boxes I had previously received, I knew the shipping box would be larger than usual.
I ordered such a large amount because Retin-A from India is so inexpensive. I have a prescription, but the copay for one tube would buy 10 tubes from India.
“(Tretinoin 0.1 cream: 48 $ for 40 creams ( tubes)”
Since it is primarily a cosmetic drug, I didn’t think that customs would seize the shipment even if they opened it. Well, I was wrong, customs seized the shipment and I got a nasty gram telling me that they would not be sending the shipment.
I was out $78 with shipping, no big deal.
No, I didn’t ask the supplier to refund my money because it was not his fault.
One tube lasts me over a month, and I use Retin-A 0.05 on hands/lower arms too. Out of curiosity have you found better results w/ 0.1? It took a few months but I’m acclimatized to the 0.05 and was wondering if I should move to 0.1, thoughts?
You can try it. It is an individual thing. I have always tolerated 0.1% quite well. It never causes me any irritation even if I apply it on damp skin.
My daughter however cannot use any retinol products without suffering from redness and irritation.
Thanks. You might want to share that when I started it, I could not tolerate even 0.025, but I’d use face cream, then apply the 0.025 every other day, two weeks later every day. Eventually I moved to 0.5 doing the same. I do find if I miss even a few days, I get redness and peeling again, but it goes away in a few days.
I’ll try a tube of 0.5, I use it on my hands and arms as well as my face.
It seems to be a crap shoot. I guess I’ve been lucky that even my huge expensive packages have gone through. The last one will keep me in Rapamycin for several years.
I’d like to validate a shipment from Keshavdas & Sons over off of IndiaMart.
I ordered directly from them, via WhatsApp and spoke to Navin who took very good care of me.
1MG Biocon Sirolimus Tablets - $ .58/Pill
$90 shipping to the USA.
It took roughly four weeks from ordering to get from India to the US. The length of time was largely driven by US customs as the order had arrived to ICS NY, three days after I ordered and got trapped in customs hell there.
The price on the sirolimus was good. Sometimes companies put lower prices on the medicines and higher on shipping. Just shop around and get multiple quotes, that is my typical approach.
Further to my last post - it has taken some time but I am now back in contact with Pravin and am in the process of ordering - I will keep you posted on progress - there has been a change of email address which may not b reflected on the site contact.varunmedicals@gmail.com.
I eventually contacted him through WhatsApp using the number provided on an earlier email.
The world is constricting! “I’ll just fly to Poland…” I love it.
I just got billed for a PSMA-pet prostate cancer scan. I’m on Medicare Advantage, and my “share,” is $2,840.
I could buy a ticket, fly to India and get the same scan for less than $400.
America’s system really is insane (though it does have many good points).
I like your plan of action, when you get some numbers, please share them and I think (?) the best time post-ingestion is 2 hours, not 1, there are posts here that cover that.
Thanks for the advice of 2 hours, not 1, I read it too late for this blood test.
So I tested 2 mg Rapacan from summer-hot India (see previous messages). I did not eat before the blood test, my weight is 78 kg, low BMI.
The blood test was taken 10:16, 57 minutes after I took the two 1 mg Rapacan pills on empty stomach with result:
9.3 ng/ml (2 mg Rapacan after 57 min)
Is this result as expected? Or less than expected meaning that the batch I got of Rapacan has lost some of the effect, but can still be used but a higher dose, and if so how much, double dose?
Thanks, that is why I wrote that it seems to be a bit low as from what I see from the chart (I zoomed in) is that the max level for 1 mg rapamycin is ~12 ng/mL (highest square point I can find)
I think this is completely within the range of “normal” given the individual variations in responses to rapamycin, and the extreme difficulty in “catching” any early levels of rapamycin (after the first few hours when it shoots up, then shoots back down).
The graph used that @NorwayOrSweden posted is for liquid sirolimus so its not going to be exactly the same for tablet-based sirolimus.
And you can see from the SD (standard deviation) in this report, there is quite a variance. I wouldn’t worry about your supply of rapamycin, your response suggested its within the range of normal potency.
