Hi everyine, its an old topic… but I used to study a lot beta lapachone, which was shown to increase lifespan better than CR in mice. I covered this topic in one of my blog that I dedicated for it : Beta-Lapachone for Extension of Healthy Life - Beta-Lapachone.com
I used to speak directly with the korean scientist that worked on the study and they told me they was willing to be published in Nature, but the control mice lived a bit shorter than usual… Due they think to stress induced from human manipulation.
Still the data is impressive : Beta-Lapachone, a Modulator of NAD Metabolism, Prevents Health Declines in Aged Mice - PMC
I see a lot of people speak here about NAD+, but everyone forget why precursor fail to increase lifespan unlike beta lapachone : because its the NAD+/ NADH that matters and its precisely what does beta lapachone via perpetual redox cycle and NQO1.
It also brownish the white fat and protect mitochondria disk structure.
Why no one was speaking about this compound here and prefer to speak about full of side effect drugs ? (sarcasm here)
