Considering Trump was the key target by the left regarding the Epstein file. What did we find out so far?
Part of the reasons Trump initially said not to release the file was that many innocent people will get hurt FWIW.
On Peter Attia, it has no bearing on the validity of his view on longevity which is still appreciated. I do understand why he is a bit of snob as he has travelled in the very upper echelon of the society for a long long time.
As a side note, I don’t think that just because someone associated themselves with Epstein means they were automatically a child rapist. It would be hard to turn down an invite to that island given how many famous people were there partying. Similar to Diddy parties. We now know there was some crazy stuff going on there, but I don’t believe for a second that every single person took part in it. I am sure many didn’t even know what was happening. It would have to be a pretty huge cover-up for everyone to know and keep quiet about it.
How about something exciting to share from your universe?
I learned Rupatadine really works for my eczema! Instead of the expensive Dupixent. But is it good for my system in the long run?
Speak of excitement of the night, can someone build a OpenClaw Bot to mine the website? I would love to use that. Also Long Apple stock here.
Moltbot AI Assistant Sparks Mac Mini Buying Rush
Moltbot, formerly Clawdbot, lets users run Anthropic’s Claude model on Telegram, WhatsApp, or Slack to handle emails, edit docs, push code, browse the web, or control smart lights from a dedicated device. It works on cheap setups like old laptops, VPS servers, or Raspberry Pi, but hype from Peter Yang’s video led to Mac Mini shortages and resale jokes. Users report wins like folder cleanups, though newbies face API limits and bugs; experts advise testing on existing hardware first and sandboxing for security.
I hope Peter Attia keeps his position at CBS and uses that platform to push rapamycin and other drugs harder into the mainstream, not just sticking to lifestyle interventions. We desperately need lawmakers and billionaires to massively ramp up funding for geroscience and overhaul the regulations that are slowing everything down.
We’re all aging every single day, time is running out, and we can’t afford to be overly picky about who carries the torch. He’s still arguably a more grounded and useful voice than David Sinclair.
I could be wrong about this, but I think there is a chance this could all go away over time for Attia if nothing else is discovered here. The emails look bad but there is still plausible deniability. I think in a few years time, it could very well be as if nothing ever happened. People will still comment under every single post he makes reminding everyone about it forever, but I think we will see him on podcasts again eventually.
Some folks tried to destroy Huberman with a hit piece a year or two ago and that pretty much blew over. I understand what Attia is accused of is a lot worse but the result could be the same
Man, I’m super disappointed. I’ve been an Attia subscriber since 2019, and his advice and the knowledge he’s shared has definitely changed my life. But still, it’s super disappointing that his judgment is THIS damn bad to be sending sucking up emails and dirty jokes with a literal convicted pedo.
When a piece on 80 Epstein victims came out in the media, Attia emails Epstein and asks whether he’s doing ok in light of the new story. It’s just gross and tells me that his character is absolutely awful. What’s with these guys getting a sniff of money and fame and just going crazy and losing all integrity?
I’m definitely going to unsubscribe from the premium podcast now. I don’t think I can financially support him any more. To be honest, with YouTube AI summaries, the show notes have less value, and the AMA episodes are a bit “meh” anyway IMO. And I agree with others that he’s become a bit too much of a “podcast bro” now. Having Mike Israetel, the “no plates no dates” guy etc on. I wasn’t a fan.
Attia must already be a multi-millionaire. Weird how they all get stuck into this little society of then trying to be buddy buddy with people higher up the chain than you. What’s also funny is how pathetic they all are. Why is Attia trying to flatter Epstein with all this “your life is so interesting” stuff? Isn’t the whole point of being rich to be able to say “fuck you” to people and do whatever you want without being ruined?
It was that email that was the nail in the coffin for me. Infantile dirty jokes are not career ending, but that certainly was. Oddly, that isn’t the main one I’m seeing being spread around.
On Twitter, I took note that it was the men going after him, and that makes this different from any other take down I’ve seen. I didn’t see one man defend him. I never saw that coming and I was heartened.
He was mentioned in the Heather Cox substack and the Bulwark podcast… in addition to a ton of other headlines. I suspect his deal with Bari Weiss gave this story more legs than had he stayed off CBS.
I think the companies doing business with him already removed him off their websites.
And RM, BRAVO to you for canceling. I was not premium but I unfollowed/unsubscribed everywhere. I can still get any content I want from him (if there is future content, which I am now beginning to doubt), but I don’t want to be a source of profit.
And EXACTLY. What is the point of FU money if you never say FU. He seems to only punch down.
I have not seen one from Aubrey de Grey, but as he asks everyone for money for longevity research I am not sure he needs to issue one much that if I were he I would.
I thought I would check if my surname appears in the files. It does. Generally referring to sewing (not actually as a name).
That was a good tweet from Bryan Johnson and it seemed sincere to me.
The one from Attia was not. In writing, he was concerned about any ramifications to JE from the article that mentioned all victims… that was not the email of someone who was woken up by it and was suddenly sicked by JE
And he also attempted to go see him in NM and stayed in his NY condo…
And he has a gold medal in name dropping, so his explanation of learning that in high society one doesn’t name drop is also ridiculous to me. Everyone knew of JE’s extravagant life, so ‘I can’t tell a soul about it’ sounds silly.
None of what he said rings true to me and was the work of a crisis management consultant or just him being his arrogant self and continuing to deny his acceptance of who JE was.
It’s good he came out with something, but I respect him less for what he actually said.
LOL love how they’re (both) being roasted badly by everyone. Entertaining to read the threads. Their apologies are pure BS. Wussy little men. Instead of owning up to it and saying it is what it is.
When I had a situation (nothing of this low life sort, yet it was actually illegal activity and based on some cultures (religious people) it could be viewed as not morally sound either, not only I owned up to it, but I said that’s how I felt at the time. I will not apologize for something I intentionally did but clearly looking back it was wrong. I’ll try hard to fight such temptations in the future but being a normal human being, there’s no guarantee that I might not fail (in a different form) again. We all make mistakes and hopefully I’ll be able to learn from this mistake of mine. To those that think they’re so pure and have never done anything wrong and are passing judgement on my actions all I can say is go f----y-----.
LOL I swear this is my true statement (via email) to people involved and is exactly what I would have said if I were in Atia shoes. I can never accept (their apologies) nor understand people who apologize for the actions they intentionally and willfully undertook at some point in their past and then all of the sudden now they are very sorry (obviously, they are ONLY sorry that they were caught). To me people who accept such apologies are just gullible people, and those who apologize show only weakness. You simply can’t unbreak a glass once it has been shattered LOL.
"While not confirmed, estimates often place his net worth in the $20 million to $50 million+ range, driven by these multiple high-earning ventures.
In summary, while no official number exists, Peter Attia is a very successful physician-entrepreneur in the longevity space, with significant wealth generated from his media, medical practice, and writing."
Attia operates a Private Family Office for his re$ource$
It was total BS from him also. Read the threads and you’ll see where someone posted an email from him actually asking to meet JE in person even after he had the zoom call, which he says he was disgusted by him on the zoom call and never made contact with him again. LOL what a clown of a human being. The irony of this all is that these guys have not even done anything remotely wrong, but simply just ask to meet or met him (mainly business/funding reasons). There is nothing in the material that shows Atia or BJ knew of his nefarious dealings, and nothing that implicates them on doing anything illegal either. Bill Gates, and the Duke on the other hand is a totally different story.
I’m losing way more respect for them (PA and BJ) now that I have read their responses than the fact that they had interactions with JE.
Argh, thanks for the callout on BJ’s BS. I had not seen that.
I am personally convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt Attia knew based on me reading the emails. No other way to explain him asking about the fallout from that article, right? I am in no way saying he participated though.
This just in: CBS News Expected to Cut Ties With Contributor Peter Attia Over Epstein Links
“In newly released emails, the wellness guru made crude jokes in chummy correspondence with the late convicted sex offender”
I was guessing it was much north of 20M. Shows how clueless I am.
@relaxedmeatball do you have quick/easy access to the email regarding Attia asking if there was fallout from the article naming JE victims. I did see it but if you have it handy, I don’t want to go through all those emails again (I’m being asked for it)
@relaxedmeatball never mind, I found the email I was looking for.
EDIT: @Kelman Lookie here lookie here !!! (Relaxed Meatball had also seen this).
“In November 2018 I read the Miami Herald investigative article. I was repulsed by what I learned. Nauseated. It marked a clear and irreversible line between what I knew before and what I understood afterward.
At that point, I told him directly he needed to accept responsibility for what he did”
Nope, this email does not oooze repulsion if you ask me.
