Their application suggests that I cannot get a prescription since I am not 40+, but it let me continue filling out the application and confirm billing info if prescribed. How hard is the 40-year cutoff at AgelessRX?
It seems ironic that a company with ageless in its name has age restrictions.
Update for anyone interested - I was not approved at AgelessRX due to age, but I was approved at Heally. The process at Heally took 15-20 minutes start-to-finish including video call.
Update: I was told on the call with Heally that I would be sent generic, enteric-coated rapamycin at 6mg/week. I was sent compounded rapamycin 6.7mg capsules with no markings. Iām in contact with Heally about the mix-up but considering switching to Healthspan as they advertise generic rapamycin on their website. Healthspan also offers blood testing for rapamycin concentration and other labs.
Update: got a refund from Heally and just got my Healthspan prescription in for 6 x 1mg tablets per week. Sign-up was very simple with Healthspan and they include a set of labs when starting:
- Hemoglobin A1c
- Insulin
- RBC Magnesium
- Apolipoprotein B
- Iron, TIBC and Ferritin Panel
- CBC (includes Differential and Platelets)
- Lipid Panel, Standard
- hs-CRP
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
- Testosterone, Free, Bioavailable and Total
- Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy, Total
The total cost is similar for 6mg/week between Heally and Healthspan, but Healthspan is more cost-effective at the start due to the labs, offers generic rapamycin (my tablets show RD53 and are the correct shape), and has a better system to get in touch with their staff.
