Kind of a bummer, I was looking to start Rapamycin when I saw that India is no longer shipping to the U.S.
If there is anywhere anyone would recommend I start looking, it would be much appreciated!
Also, If you have any recommendations for a 27 year old who is looking to age gracefully, it would also be appreciated!

I would not be certain that you cannot purchase from India. Elsewhere I mentioned that my supplier is not experiencing problems. I would be happy to share my source but it is referral only and I can be kicked off the approved list if I publish the contact.
Also, if you can find a US physician to write you a script – which can be easy depending on your circumstances – rapa is priced reasonably. GoodRx has an offer of 90, 1 mg sirolimus tabs for $72 and $194 for their regular price.

Yes, here’s my recommendation: you shouldn’t be taking rapa at 27 years old. Check in with us in 13 years.
I completely disagree with the previous poster. In animal models, the longer they are on rapa, the better, and while you still get benefits starting at an older age, it’s clearly better starting younger - that’s the data in animals. In humans we don’t have data for longevity purposes anyhow. So, that’s the evidence I’m citing, animal models, because that’s the heuristic that’s guided the use of rapa for us for life extension purposes. The other poster has not given any tangible evidence for their position, so it’s just opinion. If I were you, I’d ignore any patronizing advice, and make your own decision. Obviously, you should be careful, go slow, get all your vaccinations first (especially likely bacterial agents, as in certain pneumonias etc.) and monitor any effects.
Right now, until the shipping situation from India gets resolved, it’s probably easier to get a prescription in the US, from dedicated sources (posted in many threads), and make sure you are not getting compounded versions. Best of luck!
The complex question on Rapamycin is dosing and timing. For example if you double the dose, but halve the frequency is that a better outcome. Mechanistically I suspect this is the case, but I don’t know how we can measure this.
Can you tell us more about this appoved list of which you speak?
Not much really. It is a way of expressing that my source insists that members refer only others they know and can vouch for. Referring a malcontent gets you kicked off of the list as it were.
This source is not an Indian source, correct? I thought you were referring to India.
One way to describe it (my words) is a US buying group that has a relationship manager on the India side to ensure quality, efficiency, speed, etc. Prices are higher than if you purchased directly from India, reflecting the value proposition that some find attractive. I have been purchasing product from India through this source since 2001.
This is posted on North Drugstore’s website. They are a Canadian company that sources primarily from Canada and the UK but also from India.

Some good news on the India supply. I received this email last night:
*We are still writing through the details. The USPS is currently working with foreign countries to put in place a system. Generic medicines are not subject to the tariffs. But it’s all about the “process” now. We’re waiting for clarification. *
