What shampoo do you use? Is avalon organics safe?

there are still too many ingredients…

Ha ha ha, you’re looking for a shampoo to clean off chemicals and it has too many chemicals.

As a guy with presumably short hair, if you want ultra simple, you might want to consider something like dr bronners? Maybe their unscented baby option… and then use the rest to clean the shower

I probably wouldn’t choose that for longer hair

Something like this (possibly less plastic)

Or the non baby
You could get this unscented

yeah, i KNOW most shampoos (even ones marketed as organic] are FULL of sketch chemicals and it’s hard to trust any brand [I read into the nopoo movement and successfully went without shampoo for long periods of time w/o issue] but I recently had very oily/itchy/bumpy scalp that turned red when I scratched it hard and want something to get rid of all of it.

[though if I wait for a few weeks maybe it will go away]

im gonna dunk on some rapamycin+grapefruit today but i didn’t have those issues when I went on long rapa breaks over the past year [my guess is that rapa doesn’t affect it much]

“Native” brand keeps ingredients to a minimum.

Alternatively, don’t use shampoo.
I haven’t used it for years and no one suggests my hair is dirty or oily or smelly.

12 days later (or really much earlier, I didn’t keep track), and the scalp itchiness self-resolved w/o need for shampoo even when I’m not on the best diet [too many unbelievabuns].

Itchy scalp again even after a nopoo shower. damnit.

I still have my 2015 blue avalon organics bottle (meh, I feel like time has frozen since 2015), but it doesn’t say EWG-safe.
