The model is mathematical and looks at current trends in longevity from a statistical perspective.
The biggest thing I learned is that the longevity plateau really didn’t start increasing until 1950 which coincides with many major medical advances. I am encouraged that at least by the model, the maximal lifespan has not yet been attained and that we may see 120 quite regularly in the future.
