MRI Angiogram (MRA) is just as accurate a measure of hard + soft plaque and has the advantage of no cancer risk from CCTA radiation, but does cost slightly more (around $100-$150 more).

In USA, insurance typically covers neither CCTA nor MRA, unless you have a history of heart disease, in which case it usually only covers CCTA.

Any time I have posted a cost/price on an item/service is you pay out of pocket.

Any medical insurance payment for “Longevity/, Lifespan” use is not recognized/payed for by any insurance company that I am aware of.

FWIW…

MR Angiogram (MRA) with and without Contrast in New Jersey, ranges from $486 to $993 .
