The cost of a Cardiac CT Coronary Angiography ranges from $456 to $630 .
A basic overview;
A video by Dr. Matthew Budoff MD presented the use of CT angiography to measure atherosclerotic plaque and evaluate the effects of a ketogenic diet on cardiovascular health.
MRI Angiogram (MRA) is just as accurate a measure of hard + soft plaque and has the advantage of no cancer risk from CCTA radiation, but does cost slightly more (around $100-$150 more).
In USA, insurance typically covers neither CCTA nor MRA, unless you have a history of heart disease, in which case it usually only covers CCTA.
