The Everything Technology and Longevity Thread

I wear four sleep tracking devices at night. FWIW, I am a terrible sleeper. Here is a table of some of the data for the four devices from last night. I really can’t assess which device is most accurate. I would like to believe the Garmin Index Monitor is but I don’t know.

I have multiple wearable devices. Three smartwatches: Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), Garmin Forerunner 970, Amazfit BIP 6; two heart rate monitor straps: Garmin HRM Pro Plus, Polar H10; two rings: Samsung Galaxy Ring, RingConn Gen 2; and two straps: Amazfit Helio Strap, Garmin Index Monitor. They all depend on software, which is not great IMO, and they have a lot of functionality overlap. Yet they often report different numbers for the same thing. The one that drives me most crazy is that my heart rate on one device could show 170 bpm when I am running, and another device might show 120 bpm. The technology is still evolving. It isn’t mature yet.

There is a YouTuber, The Quantified Scientist, that tracks these devices. His home page is
