Just an update in case there are folks following this thread/in a similar position to me.
As you’ll recall, rosuvastatin brought down my ApoB score but caused low desmosterol (<.8) so I stopped (I’m APOE 3/4). Switched to praluent, which didn’t bring down ApoB sufficiently so I added ezetimibe 10mg, which in combination with praluent brought ApoB down to 57. Since it has been several months, I decided to retest desmosterol from Boston Heart and things look better. Desmosterol at .9 and ApoB holding steady at 56. Now I’m going to add indian bempedoic acid into the mix to see if that will drive down ApoB even a little lower without negatively affecting desmosterol.
