When the name TrumpRx is used, approval drops to 41% and disapproval rises to 31%. The name has the strongest negative effect among Democrats. Iâm not in the US but Iâm just curious: how does this work? Your doctor gives you an off label rapamycin prescription and then you can buy via TrumpRx? How does this price compare to other sources?

Yes, that is the idea. That price is pretty much the same price as India purchased. And you know it hasnât sat in a 120 degree warehouse for months.

I havenât gone with a U.S. doc yet, largely because of the price. But with this price it makes sense to switch if I can find a doc for less than $400 a year, so quarterly âcheck inâ ($100$) for refill, but I still have a year or 2 Indian supply on hand at 3dayx6mg once a month. Also I might have to convince the doc that the dosing is fine which is another wild card headache Iâd rather avoid.

Thanks for sharing. Thatâs a pretty competitive price compared to many other sources. More affordable access to sirolimus could be helpful for people who are already using it under medical supervision.

I use https://www.pushhealth.com/; the fee is $68 for Dr.'s Rx. Use either of the two discounts they have available for prescriptions. The current price is $123 for 90 2 mg tablets at CVS pharmacy. Same price as https://trumprx.gov/

You donât⌠In a positive or negative way⌠Thatâs the is issue. In the USA etc there are rules and regulations around drug supply chains, when you buy from grey market in India you donât know how things are stored, etc

CVS stores in San Diego refused to fill my RX for Rapamycin at the no insurance price quoted by Goodrx etc and said it can only be filled by CVS speciality pharmacy, an online division that normally handles expensive cancer drugs. In my case CVS Speciality insisted on billing my insurance and then told me I needed to have my doctor fill out an some insurance form but the link explaining details led nowhere and their phone number could provide no details. Others reported that their RX was filled by CVS speciality ( they had no insurance on file with CVS) demanding over $10 per mg and refusing any goodrx coupons.
I tried talking to a local CVS pharmacist who insisted they no longer stock Rapamycin, even though the online i nventiry on their website said otherwise.

I have always bought mine at CVS (not specialty) with a Good RX coupon.
If CVS is no longer doing it, Target, through Good Labs, is the same price)
If you buy a yearâs worth, itâs aprox .56 per pill.

May I ask how you get your prescription? I usually by from Maulik to avoid going through the prescription battle with docs, and I have had no problems (that I know of) with the quality of any of the drugs I get from him. The problem is the FDA at entry. How is everyone else here getting their prescription? Iâm in Las Vegas.

FWIW, yesterday, I just picked up a huge supply of two different prescriptions at CVS and they gave me the lowest Good RX price⌠and they never asked for the coupon details. Last year, when I placed my order for the year, I did sign up for one month of their preferred pricing.

BTW here is the CVS RX inventory check but even when I go to stores in San Diego that show availability, the pharmacist will deny they have any availability as soon as they hear the name Sirolimus, without doing any actual check on their computer ! They immediately say it can only be filled by CVS Speciality (online only, but once filled, order can be picked up any any local CVS pharmacy).
Here is the list of drugs CVS says can only be filled at CVS Speciality (Rapamune is listed under Transplant on the last page), so at least the local CVS Pharmacist was right about officially only filling Rapamune RXs at CVS Speciality, but I wonder what happens to the remaining stock at the local Pharmacy.
