Rapa and its derivatives look like miracle drugs. I am surprise at all the deseases rapa et al are being successfully tested for.

Pharmaceutical companies have already started working on new rapalogs that inhibit only mtorc1, do not affect mtorc2, that is, they will only inhibit mtorc1 kinase, which is an energy sensor without affecting the immune system and is responsible for hypertrophy-related aging. One of the most important pathways of aging is the mtorc1 pathway, which still tries to grow tissues and cells even after the system matures (about the age of 30).
