Seed oil byproducts found in most colon cancer tumors according to study.
Another study published in Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health that assessed the cancer rates in 28 countries worldwide found that areas with a higher intake of olive oil had lower rates of colorectal cancer.
Of all the things that can contribute to various cancers, seed oils are probably a bit further down the list. But it is a popular political topic these days
The source of this article is an infomercial site. They take paid “articles” which have links in them to sites for purchasing things. I will probably use this marketing tactic in the not too distant future
I recently noticed that there is potentially a good (=valid) criticism of the use of seed olis for cooking in that when used for frying they generate more aldehydes.
I think the argument that they are harmful even when not used for cooking is not as strong. Whether the body metabolises them into aldehydes was not clear from a quick search.
