Rybelsus for Type 1 Diabetes

Took the first 3 mg pill this morning, and relieved that there are no ill effects – but was agahst to see that fasting BG spiked to 264. After a f mile walk, and no longer fasted, BG is 103. Not good but with my predabetes, suspected.

I am taking Rybelsus because I suspect I have incipient Type 1DB. Low c peptide and insulin and too high glucose. Research now showing that semaglutide can get Type 1 patients to be able to decrease their insulin requirement or stop taking it/1
See Dr, Andrew Stewart, Mt Sinai and Dr. Paresh Dandona at Buffalo.

Both confirmed, independently, that GLP-1’s are useful for T’ype 1.

I have been waiting since March to get in to see the endocrinologist I was referred to. Appointment cancelled and rescheduled 3 times so far. Now waiting for 9/25. I went off the reservation and sourced the Rybelsus (thanks Desert Shores for the recommeded vendor), and also some Harmine. This forum has empowered me to take the reins at this point . . . .

I had very significant side effects from Rybelsus, mainly sleep problems that made me very fatigued all day long, increased heart rate and greatly decreased heart rate variability. I was so miserable I gave up after a couple of months. Now on compounded injectible low dose tirzepatide (2.5mg per week), which works SO much better for appetite suppression and has virtually no side effects, at least not for me. I hope your experience w/Rybelsus is better!
