Richard Miller does a good analysis of this paper that made resveratrol and David Sinclair famous:
“That is the median survival was increased slightly significantly, but slightly now that initial paper did not bother to mention is that when you let them go past the median, the two curves come together and it had no significant effect on total lifespan.”
I definitely think Resveratrol would do nothing for healthy mice and probably healthy humans. It just may have specific uses for obese mice and humans (your typical American). But then again, most typical Americans wouldn’t be reading this…
However, now you can re-gift your Resveratrol supplements to your fat friends and family and not feel bad.
