Recommendations for youtube audio to text transcription tool

I prefer to read rather than listen.

Any recommendations?

I’ve got a couple of choices in hand, but maybe somebody has something better.

Download video/audio and then use whisperx locally

the transcript (of varying quality depending on whether the creator edited the automatic results) is available on every video on Youtube at the bottom of the details section. Often you have to click the “more…” link.
