I had a low grade sarcoma when I was younger and have had multiple benign tumors, including one very large spinal schwannoma.
I guess this would explain why. I’m currently 40 years old. Mother died in her 60s from breast cancer, I think I inherited the gene from her based on that and how rampant cancer is on her side of the family.
Apparently life expectancy for this is around 52-55. I’m on a fairly aggressive longevity stack but i might have to drop some things due to high cancer risk.
My current stack is:
GlyNAC (3g of each)
Taurine (3g)
astragalus extract (500mg)
EGCG (800mg)
Cranberry extract
Olive leaf extract
vitamin C 500mg
Dutasteride
astaxanthin (12mg)
Cats claw (500mg)
Magnesium malate
vitamin d 10,000IU
vitamin k2 100mcg
COQ10 150mg
Lithium 5mg (every other day)
Multivitamin
250mg DHA 500EPA fish oil
berberine 400mg
acarbose 50mg (before meal)
gotu kola 500mg
MSM 2g
Reishi extract 500mg
atorvastatin 20mg
high dose melatonin (200mg)
7mg rapamycin 1x a week
milk thistle 1g
hesperidin 1g
Spironolactone 50mg
b12 1000mcg (2x a week)
Metformin 850mg (Only on rapa days and the day after)
Ergothioneine 30mg (once a week)
I know that ergothioneine and astaxanthin activate mtor in the brain. Given the very high risk of brain tumors should I drop these? I’m guessing I should probably drop the telomerase activators, astragalus extract and gotu kola. I hear amino acids like glycine can feed cancer so maybe I should drop glynac too. Not sure about taurine.
Anything else I should drop from this list considering my genetic predisposition? Anything I should add?
Before I was hoping to live to see the singularity or at least make it to 80, but now even 60 seems aspirational.
I know to avoid radiation and sunlight, but unfortunately I’ve gotten quite a few CT scans, so even living to the median life expectancy for someone with this is a tossup. Might be looking at under 10 years remaining.
I plan to start the toronto protocol, which is CBC every few months, whole body and brain MRI once a year, and colonoscopy every 2 years.
I do OMAD and eat a whole food, plant-based diet. 145lbs and 6’2/188cm.
