Rapamycin, Statins and effect on liver enzymes

I take statins to lower my cholesterol levels and my liver enzymes have been always low. I did a lipid panel 12 hours after taking 5 mg of Rapamycin, and the liver enzyme levels went up (a little bit above normal range, 65), then they came down to low levels after a week.

Is it normal for liver enzymes to go up with Rapamycin? Can those effects, although temporary, be damaging to the liver?

My ALT and AST have increased since taking Rapa. I’ll be interested to hear other’s experiences.
