I had a great Thursday evening with @alantomusiak and Permanence Bio celebrating their 2nd anniversary, and significant progress (not sure that I can share the interim results they shared at their company celebration). This was an event for employees, investors and friends and supporters of the company. They are developing new drugs to protect DNA and prevent cancer. Very promising work!

Do they work on normal aging process protection too ? Only a shield or reversal ?

Oral treatment ? Any plan to move on a lifespan study in mamals ?
Since you mention protect/prevent, are they angling at nutraceutical ot pharmaceutical poduct line/platform?
They’ve been testing on animals and cell lines I believe. Too far away to know the delivery approach… like all longevity companies, they first have to target a disease or therapeutic indication to get FDA approval, and longevity applications would follow. Too early for lifespan studies, but I will definitely suggest to them to enter their compounds into the ITP for evaluation as quickly as possible! Alan left Age1 VC (longevity focused VC) so he is very much a longevity enthusiast.
They are purely a pharma / biotech company. There are looking for a large step up in effectiveness from any nutraceutical approaches that have ever shown any efficacy (if any).
