I have had a chance to review this and one of the linked references.
What is interesting is that it appears that doing exercise in normoxia caused accelerated aging in the mole rats. They normally did exercise in 16% oxygen or less.
It has carry forward issues for neurodegenerative diseases as the accelerated aging also caused neurodegeneration in slightly different cells, however.
