My dermatologist is recommending photodynamic therapy on my face to treat pre-cancers & a superficial basal cell cancer. I’ve been using rapamycin for about a year with good effect. I’m wondering if I should discontinue rapa prior to this treatment & if so, when to restart. Will mtor suppression interfere w/ the PDT or enhance it? Could it potentially suppress a desired immune system response? Many questions, would appreciate any insight. Thanks
