I am looking for interventions with a low(er) risk profile. I have tried trt with HCG to maintain my anatomy. It’s effective but eventually even at lower doses my hematocrit goes high and my ferritin tanks. Have you found the galantamine to be effective for muscle?
Very effective, I was going to mention but have only been on it a month. I’ve become a huge fan of all things choline. Also started ch-OSA for skin.
Many thanks for the help and insight. I have some research to do!
Where do you get the oxytocin? I’ve not seen companies selling this online yet, but I may have missed them.
Widely available and fairly cheap as far as peptides go.
I would buy the powder form to reconstitute and make my own nasal spray.

I continue to take both. I’ve only been taking both for a few months, but anecdotally:
I’ve had no negative side effects. My skin feels tighter. My muscles are stronger. I am finding synergies via the choline. Supplement with Krill as it’s a highly bioavailabilite form of choline. Will continue to update. The choline anti inflammatory pathway also seems to include a role for cannabinoids so thinking of adding a good CBD.
Glad to hear that. I ordered some galantamine. It’s forecast to be here within 2 weeks. If you don’t mind me asking, where did acquire the ch-OSA from?
Walter, thanks again
Hi Walter I’m 71 and after a broken femur and disastrous knee replacement am having these painful muscle catches in thigh the docs can’t figure out. Am not familiar with peptides but want to try the BP 157 for the pain. I heard something about it used to be legal but now it’s not is that why it has to say for research only but we can still buy it? I’ve heard if you get the shot even if in abdomen it will go to where the pain is, but I don’t know where to get the shot. I saw a sports medicine doc who gives stem cell shots for 500 dollars but he said you have to know right where the pain is and these muscle catches vary in location. Thanks.
Hi @Candleflower, thank you for your question. I’m not qualified to answer as I’ve not tried either BP-157 nor stem cell therapy. I am working 5hrogh a similar issue with a physiotherapist and in my case the catching is caused by the knee falling inwards because of a lack of support from my weakened Gluteus medius.
Thanks Walter I did see a PT on YouTube say that our gluteus is what is typically weak he doesn’t even like his clients to work on the quad until glutes strengthened because he says the imbalance causes the problem. My history with this starting 9 months post op is such I have a hard time thinking mine is simply weak glutes but I’ll keep working on them. Hope you can clear up your issue.
If you want to use oxytocin for muscle growth, you have to use a large enough dose;
I tried a protocol of 50IE post workout last summer with good results, but I always put on muscle mass easy because of muscle memory + I know how to train / eat.
I used this product, much cheaper then the ones sited above:
What were the effects, if any, you noticed physically? How did you use it as a nasal spray (looks like it comes in a vial)?
Because BPC-157 and TB4 are no longer FDA approved you have to get the research only peptides and reconstitute in your own. Please PM if you want resources.
BPC 157 has never been “legal” for human use, it’s always been a “research chemical” which can be sold and purchased legally for research purposes.
Also there may be some mis-interpretation of how it works as it is not an analgesic, in that it does not take pain away like an aspirin or Tylenol. It does not work like that. How it works is by helping to heal an injury and thereby reduce pain.
My wife (68) and I (69) have been using BPC 157 + TB500 (another healing peptide) in combination pretty much every morning for over 18 months.
What it does for us is shorten recovery time significantly. Recovery from what? pretty much any hard physical activity where I would think “I’m going to pay for this tomorrow” as in yard work, cutting down trees, exercise, and other activities many of our peers are not capable of as they age, while we do not
Just last week I changed out a 150lb pump in an industrial system that I manage. The pump weighs more than me It is in a very awkward spot under a tank with limited room and it’s very difficult to deal with. Not my first time changing this beast. I was able to do this on my own and only took me a couple hours of serious physical exertion. One of those “I’m going to pay for this” activities. Worst part was that I installed it backwards so the next day I had to redo it. Yes a bit tired the next day but surprisingly not sore!!
I have a number of friends using this combo for everything from degenerated disks in their neck, a condition called “trigger finger” that was completely cleared up in a week, sprained ankles, pulled muscles and a few other issues that have been treated unsuccessfully with surgery, PRP and other methods previous to using BPC 157 + TB500 to amazing success.
So yes, their pain went away because the root cause of the pain was addressed.
Those peptides were never “approved” for human use except for research purposes.
