Oxytocin + A5i Extends Elderly Male Mouse Remaining Lifespan 73% (14% total Lifespan)

Dihydromyricetin (or DHM in iHerb) can modulate the TGF‑β/Smad pathway, ALK5 inhibitors block this receptor to prevent Smad2/3 (and in some contexts Smad1/5) activation. Don’t know if DHM + Oxytocin can a low cost alternative to achieve similar results.

I doubt it, but who knows? DHM seems like a dirty drug, with poor availability (it’s the type of thing the body will detoxify rapidly). The research for both safety in large doses and effect is sparse.

Pirfenidone is a possibility, among the things you can buy off the shelf. “Galunisertib” is AFAIK the only human tested ALK5i with a publicly known structure. It failed it’s cancer trial and there’s no ready supply.

I use OT in a nasal spray with a dose of 25mcg per spray, I often do 2 to 4 sprays a day.

I’ve never used it as an injectable. For brain health nasal sprays are often more effective, as that is a more direct path to the brain.

5mg OT in 24mL BAC water provides 200 sprays of 25mcg. Spray bottles are available on Amazon

I bought some spray bottles to use but they didn’t have a hole in them so they didn’t work lol. I decided to just subQ inject.

I’ve renewed my interest in Oxytocin and now do an injection of 17iu (25mcg) in the morning and 2 nasal sprays of 17iu x2 = 34iu just before bed.

Any particular reason you take it right before bed? Does it affect sleep or dreams?

My first interest in Oxytocin was piqued by the effect it has on the glymphatic system.
