First time I have heard of it from a cousin of mine taking it for moderate osteo-Meloxicam. She claims it has been more effective than Tylenol, Ibuprofen or Norco for associated pain. Anyone familiar with it or used it?
It just so happens that my vet just called in an rx for low dose meloxicam to help my cat with his mobility issues. She feels it’s the lesser of evils for his kidneys.

Interesting. I didn’t know it was used for animals also. Coincidentally, she has two cats but she is the only one on Mobic (Brand name). So, what do the cats say-effective?

It’s funny, I can’t tell you how many times I talk to someone, and then I say, oh, my cat is taking that, too… people just love being compared to my pets
