What does a dedicated platform like this do that’s superior to some other platform like, say google gemini? Gemini in deep research mode presumably searches the same databases, unless there’s access to paid content or restricted in some way - I assume there is no difference in analytical power. It mentions asking about drug interactions - will this uncover more or mire accurate answers than gemini? What’s the superpower here?

I think the key is that it has full and deep and up-to-date access to some of the key publication databases and full-text research publications. I don’t think Google (or the other LLMs) have this type of access.

It’s always a good idea to ask any AI agent that you are using what their “Knowledge cutoff date” is…ChatGPT for me when I first started playing with it back in late March was June 2024 so it was 9 months out of date in terms of current events and developments.
You can also ask it for their sources.
