Not Good News for Avoiding ASCVD Events Via Low Inflammation

At my age, the preponderance of good evidence seemed to suggest that driving my inflammatory metrics to the lowest practical level was the best way to reduce the likelihood of an ASCVD event. This single study suggests otherwise even though it is only for a defined population.

The damage is probably already done “after an acute myocardial infarction”. What’s probably needed then is a regenerative strategy rather than a preventative one (e.g. lowering inflammation).
