Niacin for primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular events

That’s a pretty strong argument against taking Niacin. What about its cholesterol-lowering effects?

“Benefits from niacin therapy in the prevention of cardiovascular disease events are unlikely.”
That also negates Dr. Brad Stanfield’s use of niacin instead of NR or NMN to boost NAD+ levels. It either does not boost NAD+ levels or boosting NAD+ levels does not increase lifespan.
