I was just talking with Eric Verdin of the Buck Institute (here at the Longevity Summit). Exciting news … they will be starting a new clinical trial using rapamycin. They are working through the approval process, and expect to be launching it formally in 4 to 6 months if things go well. More details to follow when I get it.

It strikes me that the XPrize tests are an opportunity to test the effects of Rapamycin (inter alia).
