My DAV* Therapy Experiment begins! *Doxycycline, Azithromycin and Vitamin C

I received my Azithro and Doxy from India today. Neither the orange & brown capsules/Vikram Labs (doxy), nor the yellow-beige round Azithro tablets/Laborate have an imprint code on them that would allow me to use a pill finder to independently ID them. What do people think?

They look exactly like the ones I received from Jagdish Nikose who has been a trusted supplier and is actually a pharmacist. He is not willing to sell anything dodgy.
When buying from India we have to take things with a certain amount of faith.
These are the ones I am taking with my DAV routine.

I was able to increase my acsorbyl palmitate to 500mg without any issues within the first week so you can make that update for your records if you’d like. In the past I haven’t been able to tolerate very high doses of C but for some unknown reason it’s no longer bothering me.

One thing I forgot to tell from my experience of the DAV protocol is that I have struggled with a tennis elbow for the last 2 years, slowly it has improved but it was about 15-20% left of the tendonitis, enough to be annoying and needed straps when played sports. Now this is 100% gone. I have no idea on how the biology of this works, but it is quite strange that antibiotics would help with this.

Hi there, another one here who is going to give the DAV protocol a try. Ive just received my meds yesterday so I’m ready to go.
I’m planning to keep taking Rapamycin. I’m going to take 50mg Doxycycline (Dr Reddy’s Doxycycline Hyclate and Lactic Acid Bacillus Capsules) twice a day, 500mg Ascorbyl Palmitate, 250mgs of Azithromycin twice a week.
I’ll keep everyone updated on my progress

I am very sure that the Indian pharmacist may be sending you the cheapest generic available. If you have option to ask the vendor for exact brand name that would be better. You may want to use the following link to search and look for alternative brands thats available within generics.[Buy Rapacan 1mg Tablet 10'S Online at Upto 25% OFF | Netmeds] They will not ship to you but atleast you will know what brands to ask for.

Please note, not all generics are equal. Some companies will be highly reputed public companies(safer options) and some will be obscure unknown names with tons of FDA observations on their factories. When we buy here in India we ask for the big names only.

Finished DAV today. Standard DAV protocol(Doxy 2X a day, Azi Saturdays and Tuesdays, Vit C sometime during the day). No breaks in weekly Rapa dose(10 mg, Wednesdays). Did not see any positive or negative experience. Some days, mild stomach upset but that went away on its own without any special intervention.

I’m finding my skin improving. My face skin started to peal a bit, but then the skin underneath was smoother. Maybe the doxycycline or the autophagy effect on senescent fibroblasts? Anyone else noticing this?

I realized that the skin complexion looked healthier, and more even. Too bad Doxy was bugging my stomach and stopped DAV after one week. At. a later date I might give it another try, since still have plenty supply left for 5-6 DAV’s

FWIW

Reduce the doxycycline dose, they make 20mg, 40mg

Doxycycline irritates the esophagus. Sometimes gelcaps stick in the esophagus, just above the LES (lower esophageal sphincter). Pain in this area can be confused with stomach pain. Swallowing with plenty of fluid can prevent that. Also, stay upright for 30 minutes.

Since vitamin C in this combo is used as an Pro-oxidant, I wonder if the dosage used by some, isn’t to low. I looked around to find an article with the appropriate dose in humans for pro-oxidant effects, but couldn’t find any scientific one. A doctor who is specialised in ozon therapy told me it started from a minimum of 2g /dag and recommended using liposomal vitamin C.

Here is a good article I came across about “Pro- and Antioxidant Effects of Vitamin C in Cancer”;

Just finished two weeks of the DAV therapy.
Nothing to report. Possibly making my stools a little softer.

If you reed/reviewed my posting I was taking 2.4g{yes, grams] approximately every 4 hours after taking either.

As 500mg is too low a dose in my view,

Yes, I saw that you were using what I would certainly suppose as a more than high enough dose for pro-oxidant vitamin C effects. Do you experience gastro upset from those doses?

No issues . I used two different types of fat soluble Vitamins C, 1 gram of Ascorbyl Palmitate and 1.4 gram of Liposomal Vitamin C .

In my view this {DAV] would be even more beneficial with IV Vitamin C {50g{yes grams] minimum per infusion].

The only way to get a high serum level (of Vitamin C) is through IV.

FWIW

If was diagnosed with any cancer I would do this DAV Therapy/Protocol with all the three compounds administer through IV

Interesting. Do you make your own liposomal Vit. C and why do you take a combination of the 2 types of vitamin C?

Purchased made Liposomal Vitamin C

Absorbation and pathways are different.
