Finished DAV today. Standard DAV protocol(Doxy 2X a day, Azi Saturdays and Tuesdays, Vit C sometime during the day). No breaks in weekly Rapa dose(10 mg, Wednesdays). Did not see any positive or negative experience. Some days, mild stomach upset but that went away on its own without any special intervention.
Iām finding my skin improving. My face skin started to peal a bit, but then the skin underneath was smoother. Maybe the doxycycline or the autophagy effect on senescent fibroblasts? Anyone else noticing this?
I realized that the skin complexion looked healthier, and more even. Too bad Doxy was bugging my stomach and stopped DAV after one week. At. a later date I might give it another try, since still have plenty supply left for 5-6 DAVās
FWIW
Reduce the doxycycline dose, they make 20mg, 40mg
Doxycycline irritates the esophagus. Sometimes gelcaps stick in the esophagus, just above the LES (lower esophageal sphincter). Pain in this area can be confused with stomach pain. Swallowing with plenty of fluid can prevent that. Also, stay upright for 30 minutes.
Since vitamin C in this combo is used as an Pro-oxidant, I wonder if the dosage used by some, isnāt to low. I looked around to find an article with the appropriate dose in humans for pro-oxidant effects, but couldnāt find any scientific one. A doctor who is specialised in ozon therapy told me it started from a minimum of 2g /dag and recommended using liposomal vitamin C.
Here is a good article I came across about āPro- and Antioxidant Effects of Vitamin C in Cancerā;
Just finished two weeks of the DAV therapy.
Nothing to report. Possibly making my stools a little softer.
If you reed/reviewed my posting I was taking 2.4g{yes, grams] approximately every 4 hours after taking either.
As 500mg is too low a dose in my view,
Yes, I saw that you were using what I would certainly suppose as a more than high enough dose for pro-oxidant vitamin C effects. Do you experience gastro upset from those doses?
No issues . I used two different types of fat soluble Vitamins C, 1 gram of Ascorbyl Palmitate and 1.4 gram of Liposomal Vitamin C .
In my view this {DAV] would be even more beneficial with IV Vitamin C {50g{yes grams] minimum per infusion].
The only way to get a high serum level (of Vitamin C) is through IV.
FWIW
If was diagnosed with any cancer I would do this DAV Therapy/Protocol with all the three compounds administer through IV
Interesting. Do you make your own liposomal Vit. C and why do you take a combination of the 2 types of vitamin C?
Purchased made Liposomal Vitamin C
Absorbation and pathways are different.
Walter_Brown, I understand your point of view. My goal is to be more like Gomez Addams! LOL!
But if you read the literature, the vitamin C is concentrated in the mitochondria to a level much, much higher than the blood level. That is why (IMO) Prof Lisanti is not suggesting a much higher dose. Itās simply not needed.
According to one study 1 gm of (LiveOn) Liposomal Vitamin C every 3 hours produces serum and tissue levels comparable to 50 gm of IV Vitamin C per day. Either treatment is quite expensive, so only recommended if you actually have cancer.
Expensive???
5 weeks 35 days cost is less than $50.00 in the US
I was referring to the add-on cost of either 50 gm of IV Vitamin C per day OR 8 gm of (LiveOn) Liposomal Vitamin C per day. You had suggested that DAV would work better with 50 gm of IV Vitamin C per day. The equivalent 8gm of LiveOn Liposomal Vitamin C per day is less expensive but still costs around $10 per day.
Fwiw I have new short sprouts of hair coming in around my hair line in the front. Iām on day 25 so it may or may not be DAV at this point? Who knows. I havenāt changed anything else.
Donāt look a gift horse in the mouth
