Multiple Zydus sirolimus package designs

So I recently got 2 separate shipments of rapamycin from India from different sources on indiamart.

Manufacturing wise they look very similar, but the brand name zydus appears slightly different on each type that I received. Zydus life sciences and zydus trans immune.

Is this stuff legit zydus that was tested before or some other knockoff brand?

Looks like the Trans-immune packaging is from a division of Zydus. Looks totally legit.

Check the expiry dates, they may have switched the design.

They both look very legit. I’ve always gotten the Zydus trans immune packages. They used to have a different package design that they changed about 3 or 4 years ago. The Zydus life sciences design is, I suspect, just a new package design. I have no idea on why the name would change from “Zydus trans immune” to “Zydus LIfesciences” but both are legitimate divisions of Zydus, and Zydus Lifesciences recently got FDA approval for their sirolimus: https://www.business-standard.com/article/news-cm/zydus-life-gets-usfda-nod-for-sirolimus-tablets-123021700351_1.html

I suspect that these packages stay in the supply chain for quite some time so you’ll see different package designs being sold at the same time. Not a big issue in my mind. I also don’t worry about expiry dates.

I agree with @RapAdmin about expiry dates but store it in a fridge. However the expiry date and/date of manufacture should indicate which is the newer design.
