Missed delivery and it's 88 degrees today

I didn’t realize my package was showing up today or that it required a signature. I missed the delivery by 10 minutes. I believe most USPS trucks are not air conditioned and it was 88 today. I’m guessing it was on the truck all day today.

How much do you think the pills deteriorated over the course of today?

Fwiw, USPS offers a service called Informed Delivery. They’ll send you an email every morning showing the mail (with pictures) you’ll be getting that day. I find this very useful if I’m expecting something important.

ONE time a letter I wanted wasn’t delivered until the following day (probably missed in the truck by the mailperson) - but otherwise it’s been very reliable.

I get your concern and that is always where my brain goes. In fact, I don’t even like buying from amazon because I know Bezos fought tooth and nail NOT to air condition the warehouses… and that was for the workers who were getting heat exhaustion. I know my stuff is probably on loading docks on day melting

I digress!

If your package came from India, it’s most likely in the upper 90s there, so it was already in hotter conditions during its transport (if not more). Most people seem to have success regardless of the hot trucks so I wouldn’t worry about your missed delivery.

Thanks. I was already thinking that, so I appreciate the confirmation. I’ve just been kicking myself today for not being on top of it.
