Could a pulsed use of metformin complement simultaneous pulsed rapamycin? Metformin for the first few days after your weekly/biweekly rapa dose? This should more thoroughly suppress mTor for the first several days, while allowing needed growth at the tail end of the dosing period.
They are talking about pancreatic cancer here, but perhaps it applies to many cancers.
