Meds in your stack - by Organ Protection

I’m hoping to start a thread wherein everyone can join with their stacks pointing to specific prescription medications or supplements which provide protection for specific organs. Example of my stack:

1)Heart: bempedoic acid; ezetimibe; pitavastatin; empagliflozin; telmisartan; rapamycin

2)Kidneys: empagliflozin; telmisartan

3)Brain: empagliflozin; telmisartan; ezetimibe; rapamycin; lithium orotate; lycopene+lutein+zeaxanthin+mesozeaxanthin+astaxanthin

4)Pancreas: ? (soon: imeglimin)

5)Digestive track: tributyrin

6)Liver: bempedoic acid(?)*

7)Lungs: telmisartan

Which meds and supplements in your stack provide organ specific protective effects?

Evaluating Bempedoic Acid for Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease: A Review of Preclinical and Clinical Research

Some drugs have mixed results, in which case I don’t list them for a given organ - for example telmisartan can be helpful in lowering liver fat, but has also been associated with unfavorable liver effects and elevated liver enzymes, so I’m leaving it off from the liver column.

Maybe add:

  • skin
  • bones
  • muscles

Eggshell membrane protein for joints (possibly for bones).

Heart: tadalafil, eplerenone, telmisartan (currently not using this but will get back to it)

Heart: sacubitril/valsartan, CoQ10

Hmm. Some of these come as a bit of surprise to me. I didn’t realize sacubitril/valsartan was ever used preventatively, more a heart failure aftermath; similar with eplerenone. I guess I should look into these for educational purposes. Thanks.
