Not strictly rapa but as someone with mod-high Lp(a) (195) and no access to a PCSK9i I am intrigued by this paper suggesting that this seed oil can bring a 9% reduction in Lp(a).
But aren’t seeds oils generally bad?
I know I have the TT allele for FADS1 so it might work.

There’s some evidence that eating foods high in alpha-linolenic acid may help, too. One study suggests that people who eat a diet high in alpha-linolenic acid are less likely to have a fatal heart attack. Another study found that women who ate high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (1.5 g per day) had a 46% lower risk of sudden cardiac death than those who ate the lowest amount of alpha-linolenic acid (about half a gram per day). Other population studies show that as people eat more foods with alpha-linolenic acid, heart disease deaths go down.
Researchers don’t know whether taking alpha-linolenic acid supplements would have the same effect as eating foods rich in alpha-linolenic acid.
High Blood Pressure
Several studies suggest that diets or supplements rich in omega-3 fatty acids lower blood pressure slightly in people with hypertension. One population study found that eating a diet rich in alpha-linolenic acid reduced the risk of high blood pressure by about 30%.
Asthma
Preliminary research suggests that omega-3 fatty acid supplements (particularly perilla seed oil, which is rich in alpha-linolenic acid) may decrease inflammation and improve lung function in some people with asthma.
I often could see undigested flax seeds in my stools so I now blitz them in the coffee grinder before adding them to whatever I’m putting them with.
That in itself may increase your ALA intake.
What do folks think about Linux Pauling’s solution for LP(a) and Atherosclerosis ? His theory https://cardiacos.net/wp-content/uploads/ArticulosMedicos/20170813/2004---Heart-cure.pdf (supported only by experiments on Guinea Pigs) was that atherosclerotic plaque is composed primarily of LP(a) (rather than LDL cholesterol, in general) and L-Lysine and L-Proline will chemically block the ability of LP(a) to deposit on damaged artery walls and would even dissolve LP(a) out of existing plaque. He also believed that the damage to artery walls that starts plaque deposit, can be avoided by using high dose Vitamin-C and various brands sell the combination of Vitamin-C, L-Lysine and L-Proline as the Linux Pauling Heart Health remedy. However this remedy was never tested on humans since Linux Pauling was never able to convince any MD to test it clinically on humans based on his results from animal experiments.
I take Lipo Vitamin-C (1000mg 3x/day) anyway, so I ordered some bulk L-Lysine and L-Proline and plan to add 1g of L-Lysine and 0.5g of L-Proline with each Vitamin-C dose, since there is little risk involved with adding these amino acids to some drink or yoghurt.
